Questions and answers

What does supplier qualification mean here?
Checking documented evidence, such as specifications, test reports and service arrangements, against a defined buyer requirement before any introduction.
Why separate evidence from assertion?
A brochure claim and a test report carry different weight. Recording which is which shows where risk remains.
Who confirms destination certification needs?
Qualified advisors or the relevant authorities. This sheet lists the questions; it does not answer them.
What should a buyer share at the start?
A non-confidential outline of the application, quantities and destination. Drawings and confidential specifications come later, under agreed terms.
